Now that I have the problem, that it doesnt work with all mods turned off, I am here to get answers or suggestions what could possibly cause this issue. If the water fortress can be built, then it should be possible to build it with all mods turned off. I could have said : I made a new game without any mods, but it wouldn´t change the fact, that there were several games without any mods and without any option for the water fortress.Īnd until now, I didn´t even get a single hint of you what it might could be. That´s what i meant when i wrote "I started a 1v1 without any mods". I, then CREATED a new game (island map, 2 players, human etc.) ALSO AFTER the patch came out, but this time without any mods. With racial units, class units with their racial variations and dwelling units you end up with a colossal amount of choices to make both pre-game and during the game as your troop compositions are one of the most important elements of any grand strategy. Select build ROAD, and try to build the road over the river. Age of Wonders 3 features a massive amount of units that cover a wide range of uses and strengths.

Suggest following MrNo's pts with a builder that has full movement points left, positioned next to the river where you intend to build the bridge. That's really difficult to do though.Īll of the above ANSXx the builder unit must have sufficient movement points left given the terrian. Iirc, if you can get a builder with lava walking, then you can build bridges over lava. Might also be true for wetlands or forests, been a while since I tried it. Neither side can be mountainous terrain. The bridge must go *straight* across the water. Your movements are as fluid as the magics you control, as a water magic user you can freeze your foes before they even reach you and bodies of water that bar your way soon meets the same fate. The bridge must connect to land on both sides. Water gives the ability to accelerate rotting processes in machines, freeze both enemies and rivers, and summon Frost elementals and young Krakens alike. You cannot build a bridge next to another bridge (this means bridges must be length 1) With seafaring, this will be a valid option without it'll just path around. Take a builder, and instruct it to build a road across water.
